All officers and crew:
Attention to orders!
Lieutenant Colonel Rebecca Allen, Front and Center!
It is my honor an privilege today to act on behalf of both the Commander, Starfleet and the Commanding Officer, Starfleet Marine Corps Information Command.
I hold in my hand a citation by both, it reads:
"In December 2012, the USS Krakatoa conducted her first change of command since being commissioned. Shortly thereafter, Lieutenant Colonel Rebecca Allen was appointed Executive Officer and Officer In Charge of the 287th Marine Strike Group. Both of those jobs are enough to keep an officer busy. However, Lieutenant Colonel Allen has stepped up to the plate as the ship's webmaster. The most recent training she has is a class she took 10 years ago in school.
Many things about website design have changed since her course in school. However that has not slowed down Lieutenant Colonel Allen and her true Marine spirit in designing the ship's website. On top of designing a website from scratch with very little modern training, the ship's website was lost when the server was transferred by the host and she was able to have the website back up in less than two days which is quite impressive given her other duties aboard USS Krakatoa and her real-world responsibilities.
The ship's website hosts not only the USS Krakatoa but also a Starfleet Special Operations Active Duty Unt and the 287th Marine Strike Group. While the ship's website, www.usskrakatoa.org/index.html, is not a spectacular website that will win international awards in the website design worlds, it is far superior to what one would expect from someone with little to no knowledge of website design."
In recognition of this citation, Lieutenant Colonel Rebecca Allen is awarded the Order of Cochrane Third Class by Starleet Command as well as the Communication Service Award by the Starfleet Marine Corps Commanding Officer-Information Command as of stardate 201204.20. Congratulations and keep up the good work.
I believe the galley has refreshments prepared.
At Ease! That is all.
